Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Duke Skywalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davey Greyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Davey Greyson!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greyson tries for a takedown but Skywalker circles away easily

and Skywalker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Skywalker slips nicely into half guard.
Ground and pound from Skywalker.
Skywalker is looking to advance position but Greyson won't allow it.
Greyson pushes Skywalker off looking to stand but Skywalker dives back in and keeps control.
Skywalker wants to take a breather but Greyson is having none of it.
Greyson is trying to stand up here but Skywalker is controlling him well.
Skywalker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Greyson is in trouble now - Skywalker has advanced to mount!
Skywalker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Greyson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Greyson is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Skywalker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Skywalker looking to control but Greyson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Skywalker is landing with some decent strikes but Greyson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Greyson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Skywalker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Greyson tries to buck Skywalker off but he can't manage it.
The referee warns Greyson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skywalker postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Greyson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Skywalker around the waist but Skywalker pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Skywalker is the winner by TKO! Skywalker jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Skywalker!
