The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Query, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hall has Query up against the cage in a clinch.

Query wants to stall.
Hall misses with a hook to the ribs.

No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Query lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Query has closed the distance and engaged Hall in a clinch.

Query pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Query misses the target.
Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Query shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hall eats them both and turns towards Query to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nate Query seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing.
Hall gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Hall tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Query is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Hall buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Hall!! Hall is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Query throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
