Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magalhaes comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Aint no Grave. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Da Coach! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magalhaes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coach is fending him off so far but Magalhaes persists. Nope, Coach circles away and we're back to standing. Magalhaes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coach. Magalhaes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coach sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Coach shoots in for a double leg but Magalhaes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Magalhaes has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Magalhaes swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Coach is now in Magalhaes's guard. A big mistake from Magalhaes there, giving up the dominant position! Magalhaes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Magalhaes shoots for a double leg takedown but Coach sprawls well. He's pushed Magalhaes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fighters circling - Coach throws out the jab but it was never going to land. But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Magalhaes, into his guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coach wants to get up but he can't break Magalhaes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magalhaes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Magalhaes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Coach is surviving well by controlling Magalhaes's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coach tries to avoid it but Magalhaes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coach to the ground. Coach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Coach slaps away a takedown attempt from Magalhaes, before circling back to the center of the mat. Da Coach is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Coach fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Magalhaes. That snapped Coach's head back.
A lazy left from Coach finds it's target. No joy there for Coach, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Magalhaes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coach defends it nicely. Coach throws a looping overhand right but Magalhaes ducks down to avoid it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Coach. Magalhaes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Coach makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coach as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice takedown defense from Coach. No joy for Magalhaes on that attempt. Magalhaes misses with a straight right. Coach avoids the body shot from Magalhaes.

Coach slips a jab from Magalhaes. Magalhaes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coach's guard. Magalhaes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coach swivels though and keeps the full guard. Magalhaes trying to control but Coach is working from the bottom. Magalhaes has gone for a leg lock! Coach slips out almost immediately though and dives into Magalhaes's guard. Magalhaes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coach can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Coach gets to his feet - Magalhaes follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coach swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Coach uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Magalhaes. A looping hook to the body misses from Magalhaes. Coach does a little dance to reset his feet. Coach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Magalhaes throws a looping overhand right but Coach ducks down to avoid it. Coach scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coach scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Magalhaes keeping control of the position. Magalhaes is trying to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magalhaes is pressing down on Coach's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Vinicius Magalhaes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Coach pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Magalhaes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coach's guard. Coach keeping full guard, as Magalhaes tries to pass. Magalhaes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Coach dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach wants to get up but he can't break Magalhaes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Magalhaes seems keen to control Coach's posture. Magalhaes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Coach would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Magalhaes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coach is one step ahead there. Magalhaes pulls Coach in close to his closed guard and prevents Coach from doing any damage or advancing position. Magalhaes looking for a sweep. Not yet Magalhaes, not yet. Magalhaes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Magalhaes manages to hold on to the position though. Magalhaes tries for a kimura but Coach is defending well. Magalhaes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magalhaes laying and praying for a moment but Coach takes advantage and regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vinicius Magalhaes. I think Magalhaes has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
