Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Flores. No joy for Sharbutt on that attempt.
Sharbutt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flores as he avoids it easily.
Flores shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sharbutt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Flores showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sharbutt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Flores throwing strikes from guard but Sharbutt blocks nicely.
Flores stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sharbutt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sharbutt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Sharbutt trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Sharbutt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sharbutt pushes Flores off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sharbutt is defended easily by Flores.
Ric Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Sharbutt.
Sharbutt looks winded!
Flores lands a left and a right that send Sharbutt crashing to the mat, dazed. Flores thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sharbutt is rocked!
It looks like Mike Sharbutt has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flores closes the distance looking for a takedown. Flores picks Sharbutt up and slams him brutally to the floor. Sharbutt is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
