Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Woo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Woo Kim struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jin Woo Kim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jin Woo Kim!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock rushes Kim and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Braddock manages to break the clinch.
Braddock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kim, pushing him back against the cage.
Kim is working for takedown but Braddock is calmly controlling the position for now.
Braddock wants to break free but Kim has control.
Kim tries to pull guard but Braddock forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Braddock manages to break the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Braddock.
Braddock works Kim's body with a nice hook.
Braddock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kim was well out of range. Poor timing from Braddock.
Braddock rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage.
Braddock breaks from the clinch.
Braddock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Braddock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kim at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
James Braddock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Woo Kim.
Kim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Braddock's waist but Braddock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kim off to one side.
Braddock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Braddock scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
James Braddock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Braddock. No joy for Kim on that attempt.
Kim tries to keep at a distance but Braddock has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kim tries for a takedown. No joy.
Braddock gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kim.
Braddock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Braddock just misses with a punch to the body.
Braddock stuffs the takedown.
Kim avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
No luck for Kim with that takedown attempt.
Kim looks winded!
Kim shoots in and drives through. Braddock sprawls well.
Kim takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kim checks the leg kick.
Braddock scores with a nice right hand.
Braddock gets a clinch.
Braddock scores with a shot to the side of Kim's head.
Kim has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Braddock avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Braddock manages to break the clinch.
Braddock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Braddock tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Kim blocking the ground and pound attempt from Braddock.

Braddock wants to get back to his feet.
Kim looking for submissions off his back.
Kim is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Braddock's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Braddock's back!
Well, with Kim on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Braddock is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Kim is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Braddock won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kim off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jin Woo Kim!
After winning the bout, Jin Woo Kim thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
