The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez swats away the attempt to clinch by Gracie.
Ramirez stuffs the takedown.
Ramirez misses with a low kick.
Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ramirez throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.

and Ramirez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Broiler Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Ramirez lands with a hook. Gracie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie tries for a takedown but Ramirez circles away easily
and Ramirez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gracie slips a straight right by Ramirez.
Ramirez fails to land with a series of punches.
Ramirez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ramirez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.

Gracie is rocked!
Ramirez lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gracie head around and knocks him out cold! Ramirez hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
