And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Beasley!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Beasley is able to avoid easily.
Beasley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Beasley throws a series of strikes that have Hines backpedaling.
Beasley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hines sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Beasley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hines's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Beasley connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hines scrambles back to his feet.
Beasley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hines misses with a series of wild punches.
Beasley dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hines.

Hines is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Beasley's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hines closes the distance and clinches up with Beasley, looking for a takedown. Hines pushes Beasley against the cage but Beasley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Beasley cracks a nice hook into Hines's ribs.

Beasley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hines takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Hines counters with a shoot takedown. Beasley fights it but they end up in guard.
Beasley wants to improve his position but instead Hines has moved into half guard.
Hines content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Beasley is in trouble now - Hines has advanced to mount!
