Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Taylor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulo Carneiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Taylor! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Carneiro trying to hold on to Taylor's head to control him but Taylor postures up.
Taylor seems to be looking for submissions.
Carneiro looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carneiro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Carneiro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Carneiro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Taylor's guard. Carneiro trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom. Carneiro drops back looking for a leg! Taylor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taylor manages to kick Carneiro off! Carneiro jumps back into Taylor's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carneiro tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard. Carneiro wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Carneiro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carneiro trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom. Carneiro is working Taylor over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Carneiro looking to pass the guard. Taylor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor keeping moving, preventing Carneiro from controlling successfully. Carneiro postures up in Taylor's guard and throws a big left but Taylor blocks it. Carneiro throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carneiro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Carneiro trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carneiro preventing the sweep. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth. Carneiro tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom. Carneiro tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard. Carneiro lands a couple of elbows. Carneiro trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Taylor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carneiro trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom. Carneiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carneiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Carneiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Carneiro looking to pass the guard. Carneiro wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Carneiro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Carneiro works over Taylor with some ground and pound from guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carneiro. Taylor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Taylor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carneiro controls the pace. Taylor can't keep his opponent in guard - Carneiro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Carneiro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Taylor defend it? Carneiro steps over the head and cranks it - Taylor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Carneiro!
