Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Nolter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Nolter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Lister!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nolter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lister swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nolter throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lister uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nolter.
Sloppy strikes from Nolter. Those never looked like landing.
Nolter loads up on a big right hand but Lister slips the punch.

Nolter moves into the clinch successfully.

Nolter drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nolter is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lister dives into side control.
Lister is trying to ground and pound but Nolter uses the momentary lack of control by Lister to regain half guard.
Nolter is looking to improve his position.
Lister tries to pass to full mount but Nolter defends it.
Nolter is trying to stand up here but Lister is controlling him well.

Nolter tries to kick Lister off in order to stand up. Lister Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Lister misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Lister postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Nolter is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lister has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Nolter gets back to half guard.
Lister seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nolter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lister stops Nolter from getting back to his feet.
Nolter is not content to let Lister control the position.
Nolter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lister scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lister wants to pass the guard but Nolter is keeping the position.
Lister slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Nolter is refusing to be controlled, as Lister sits in half guard.
Nolter keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Lister tries to control but Nolter wriggling away.

Nolter tries to lock up and control but Lister gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lister tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lister breaks from Nolter's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Nolter is trying desperately to improve position.
Lister lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lister prevents Nolter from getting the reversal.
Nolter is trying to stand up.
Nolter is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dave Lister will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dave Lister showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nolter throws the kick towards the body but Lister avoids it.

and Nolter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lister's knee momentarily.

Lister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Nolter tries to bum rush Lister with a series of wild strikes but Lister uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lister looks to score with a jab to the body but Nolter is just out of range.
Nolter throws a series of punches but Lister avoids them all with ease.
Nolter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nolter.

Lister changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nolter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nolter is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Nolter is looking to regain half guard here but Lister keeps moving and retains side control.
A lull in the action here as Lister stalls from top position.
Nolter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Lister is trying to get an arm triangle but Nolter is defending well.
Lister avoids the strikes from the bottom by Nolter.
You can see the frustration on Nolter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Nice sprawl there from Nolter as Lister shoots in.

Nick Nolter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lister throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nolter's waist but Nolter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lister off to one side.
Nick Nolter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Lister.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nolter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lister on the side of the head.
Dave Lister is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A combination from Nolter does no damage.
Lister bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Nolter.
I think Lister has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
