Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pence Apene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jia O Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Connor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Parkway Drive - Feed them to the pigs. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apene has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Apene throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Connor's waist but O Connor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Apene off to one side.

O Connor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Apene shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. O Connor defends it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Connor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Apene looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
O Connor drops Apene with a right and a left! O Connor comes rushing in but Apene regains his composure and manages to keep O Connor in guard.

A jab-cross combination lands for O Connor and sends Apene crashing to the mat! O Connor follows him down to the mat - Apene regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with O Connor in particular looking to stall.
