The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dietrech lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Leonidas Spartacusson has been cut.
Spartacusson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Spartacusson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dietrech keeps working.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spartacusson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dietrech is surviving well by controlling Spartacusson's body position as best he can.
Dietrech is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Spartacusson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Dietrech turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Spartacusson off and cradles Dietrech's limp body as Spartacusson celebrates with his corner.
