Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson connects with a high kick.

It looks like Denard Black has been cut.
Black throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson throws a front kick aimed at Black's knee but Black avoids it well.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Black keeps it at a distance.

Black uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black blocks the body kick.
Black feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.
Johnson throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Black sprawls well.
Johnny Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Black missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson.

Johnson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Black dives on top into guard.
Johnson pulls Black in close to his closed guard and prevents Black from doing any damage or advancing position.
Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Johnson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Johnson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Black lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Black takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Black lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Black.
Black's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Black duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson throws a wild hook but Black just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Johnson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Black raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
