Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Drake moves out of range easily.
Drake tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick from Diaz misses.
Drake shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Diaz pushes Drake off looking to stand but Drake dives back in and keeps control.

Drake decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Drake connects with a nice short shot to Diaz's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drake is nestled in close to Diaz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Diaz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Drake scores with a couple of nice shots.

Drake lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Diaz quite badly. Diaz pulls Drake in close trying to recover. Drake postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Diaz on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Diaz doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benny Drake!
