Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Bearer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jervis Dobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Bearer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jervis Dobson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bearer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch combination from Bearer misses. Bearer lands with a nice combination. Dobson backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jervis Dobson has been cut. Bearer scores with a jab to the jaw. Bearer doesn't manage to clinch there - Dobson circles away.
Bearer walks into a stiff left hand from Dobson. Bearer misses with a straight left. Paul Bearer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dobson looks to land a left hand but Bearer moved out of range nicely. Bearer misses with a leg kick. Dobson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bearer throws out a loose jab but Dobson uses good head movement to avoid it. Bearer throws a hook to the side of Dobson's head but Dobson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dobson shoots in but Bearer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bearer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dobson. Bearer misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bearer throws a series of punches but Dobson avoids them all with ease. Bearer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dobson was well out of range. Poor timing from Bearer. Dobson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bearer! Bearer is trying to control Dobson's posture but Dobson avoids it. Dobson scoring with punches from side control. Dobson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bearer is trying to get back to half guard. Dobson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dobson looks up at the clock and then as Bearer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dobson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Dobson throws a strike aimed at the side of Bearer's head but Bearer avoids it well. Dobson wants to control but Bearer is keeping him busy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dobson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bearer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bearer can't do much from the bottom here. The ground and pound from Dobson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bearer trying his best to control but Dobson has mounted him. Dobson landing strikes from the mount. Bearer is squirming around, avoiding Dobson's attempts to control the action. Bearer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dobson on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobson cracks Bearer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dobson misses with a head shot. Bearer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dobson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Dobson wants to control but Bearer has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Dobson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bearer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dobson is pressing down on Bearer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bearer is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dobson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bearer is looking for a sweep. Dobson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dobson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dobson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bearer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bearer is defending against the submission attempts here by Dobson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dobson throwing shots but Bearer is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jervis Dobson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jervis Dobson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dobson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bearer won't allow Dobson to pass to mount. Bearer trying to control but Dobson postures up.
Bearer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dobson scores with a couple of nice shots. Bearer works his way to full guard. Good work. Bearer is trying to keep Dobson in close.
Bearer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dobson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bearer keeping moving, preventing Dobson from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dobson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dobson looks to land a left hand but Bearer moved out of range nicely. A slow jab from Dobson misses its intended target. Bearer moves out of range of the strikes. Dobson throws the left hand but Bearer avoids the punch easily. Dobson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dobson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bearer is trying to escape and Dobson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bearer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dobson! Very nice indeed!
