Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between JJ Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter McBain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Shackler's Revenge - Guns N Roses. McBain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alien8. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBain fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Johnston is out of range.
Johnston misses with a series of wild punches.
McBain throws a sloppy head kick and Johnston moves out of range easily.
McBain digs a good body shot into Johnston's ribs.
McBain throws a head kick but Johnston moves out of range.
McBain getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

McBain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and McBain counters with a series of strikes. Johnston will be more careful next time no doubt.

Johnston is keen to just control but McBain is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that JJ Johnston will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

McBain takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Johnston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McBain moves away.
Johnston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McBain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab lands there for McBain.
Johnston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

McBain throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McBain tries a head kick but it misses.
McBain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnston.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Johnston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnston digs a good hook to McBain's body.
