Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Shouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Shouse ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Dodson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dodson clinches up with Shouse and pushes him back against the cage. Dodson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Dodson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dodson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Shouse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dodson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Shouse tries to lock up and control but Dodson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Shouse is squirming around, avoiding Dodson's attempts to control the action. Dodson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Shouse is looking to improve his position but Dodson isn't that keen on the idea. Dodson trying to control but Shouse is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Shouse is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Shouse tries to hold on but Dodson pushes him away. Dodson with the ground and pound from mount. Dodson looking to control but Shouse is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Shouse tries to reverse the position but Dodson maintains control. Shouse tries to lock up and control but Dodson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dodson is working for a guillotine from mount but Shouse frees his head quite easily.
Shouse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shouse tries to get out of the position. Dodson has hold of Shouse 's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shouse manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dodson prevents Shouse from getting the reversal. Shouse wants to control but Dodson is having none of it. Dodson looking for a guillotine from mount but Shouse is having none of it. Shouse is looking to improve his position but Dodson isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shouse tries to hold on but Dodson postures up. Dodson is standing up, even though he is in mount. Shouse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dodson on his heels. He'll look to pass Dodson's guard now, I'm sure. Dodson working a defensive guard here.
Shouse won't allow Dodson to sweep him here. Shouse is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shouse wants to control from the top but Dodson keeps moving. Shouse is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Joshua Shouse wasn't doing enough on the ground. Shouse stuffs the takedown attempt from Dodson. Dodson gets slowly back to his feet. Dodson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shouse sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dodson forces Shouse back against the cage and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shouse tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shouse jumps guard and drags Dodson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Dodson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dodson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shouse is fending him off so far but Dodson persists. Nope, Shouse circles away and we're back to standing. Shouse doesn't manage to clinch there - Dodson circles away.
Dodson is looking to clinch. Dodson fails to land the takedown. Dodson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Shouse tries to get to full guard but Dodson has control of the leg. Dodson is looking for a kimura here.
Shouse looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson prevents Shouse from improving his position. Dodson is trying to work for a kimura but Shouse is defending well.
Dodson is keen to just control but Shouse is a slippery customer. Shouse makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Shouse . Shouse looking for a sweep. Not yet Shouse , not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shouse trying to control the position.
Dodson trying to control the position from guard on top but Shouse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shouse has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dodson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Shouse has tightened it up now! Dodson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
