Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steel to the mat! Steel manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Steel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Steel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Steel is looking for a triangle but Black pushes his legs off easily.

Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
