PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jitsu has chosen Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jenkins.

Jenkins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jitsu is trying to defend but Jenkins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jenkins throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jitsu to regain full guard.

Jitsu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jenkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins throws an elbow that misses. Jitsu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jenkins's guard. Nice move by Jitsu!
Jitsu wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

Jenkins wants to sweep but no luck.
Jitsu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jitsu is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jenkins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jenkins has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jenkins throws a strike but Jitsu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jitsu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jenkins, up you get!

and Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jenkins won't be happy with that.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jenkins, who protects the arm well.

Jitsu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jitsu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but Jitsu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Jitsu, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Jitsu against the cage but Jitsu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jitsu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jitsu gets slowly back to his feet.

Jitsu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jenkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jitsu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jenkins is trying to escape and Jitsu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jenkins is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jitsu! Very nice indeed!
