Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes to the cage accompanied by Return of the Mack . Frost has chosen 8 second ride (Jake Owen) as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lane Frost! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George lands a jab. Frost walks into a straight right hand from George. Frost takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
George fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Frost, pushing him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. George's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Frost misses with a looping left. George lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frost circles away quickly and effectively. Frost's jab looks to have found its range, popping George under the eye. George staying out of range there. George misses the shot to the body. Frost drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Frost is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. George knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Frost working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. George is trying to buck Frost off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Frost has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! George is pushing Frost's head away, looking to escape. Frost manages to hold on to the position though. Frost is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but George is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Frost tries to advance to mount but can't. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! George is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Frost is controlling him well. George is not content to let Frost control the position. Frost tries for a kimura but George is defending well. Frost tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

George is trying to get back to his feet. Frost looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. This has been an exciting period of action! George is not content to let Frost control the position. George wants to get back to his feet. Frost wants to lay and pray for a moment but George keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. George is trying to buck Frost off. Frost tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Frost thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. George is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Frost is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. George knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. George is pushing Frost's head away, looking to escape. Frost manages to hold on to the position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Frost is looking to take a break and control but George is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Frost in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... George is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
