Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kamenow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Piekny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamenow comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Bleed It Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grisha Kamenow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piekny closes the distance and clinches up with Kamenow, looking for a takedown. Piekny pushes Kamenow against the cage but Kamenow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kamenow shoots in looking for a takedown but Piekny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kamenow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Piekny throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kamenow misses with a takedown attempt - Piekny sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Piekny has a takedown stuffed.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kamenow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Piekny is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kamenow scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kamenow throws a head kick that misses.

Kamenow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Piekny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Piekny tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kamenow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Piekny knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Piekny is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kamenow has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kamenow has hold of Piekny's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Piekny tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kamenow cranks the arm and Piekny screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Piekny, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
