Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rockson Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Stone Roses - I Am The Resurrection. Rockson Rua has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos misses with a lunging right hand
and Rua counters with an inside leg kick.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Dos Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dos Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dos Santos avoids a kick to the body.
Dos Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rua blocks a low kick nicely.
Rua turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rua's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dos Santos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rua scrambles back to his feet.
Dos Santos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rafael Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rua! Dos Santos is out on his feet! Rua rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Dos Santos is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Dos Santos is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
