Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liu Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisto Rahapussi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rahapussi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Caged in A Rage kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Taisto Rahapussi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Liu Kang !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taisto Rahapussi!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Rahapussi tries to pull guard but Kang forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Rahapussi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kang .
Kang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rahapussi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rahapussi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rahapussi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A short right from Rahapussi on the inside.
Rahapussi jumps guard but Kang turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Liu Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taisto Rahapussi.
Kang wants the takedown. Rahapussi is fighting it off but Kang persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rahapussi's guard against the cage.
Rahapussi trying to keep a closed guard but Kang is proving a slippery customer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kang trying to control but Rahapussi is working from the bottom.
Kang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rahapussi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rahapussi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kang should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rahapussi has tightened it up now! Kang should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Taisto Rahapussi!
