Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gauge Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen Wash is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Owen Wash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gauge Diaz! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wash wants to clinch and Diaz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Diaz. Wash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Diaz will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wash up against the cage. Diaz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wash wants to clinch but Diaz slips to the side and Diaz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wash's guard now. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wash swivels though and keeps the full guard. Diaz is standing up over Wash. Wash looks to escape but Diaz dives into side control.
Wash is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wash is letting Diaz control him for a moment. Wash takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Wash taking a bit of punishment here - Diaz scoring with strikes. Diaz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Diaz wants to control but Wash is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz works to advance to full mount. Wash defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Diaz wants to control the pace but Wash is squirming around nicely. Diaz unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diaz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Diaz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Diaz trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is working for a guillotine from mount but Wash frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz wants to control the pace but Wash is squirming around nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gauge Diaz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt and Diaz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wash's guard. Wash manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wash wants to clinch and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Diaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wash's head. Diaz trying to mount his opponent but Wash defends it. Diaz drops an elbow to the side of Wash's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Diaz scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wash?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wash takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Diaz looking to control and managing it successfully. Wash is in a horrible position here. Diaz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wash turns into him and now he's in Diaz's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz pushes Wash off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Wash darts in trying to clinch and Diaz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wash! Diaz landing strikes from the mount and Wash is in trouble!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz controlling from the full mount. Diaz in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Diaz controlling from the full mount. Gauge Diaz has got the better of the ground game so far. Diaz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wash can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Diaz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wash looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diaz landing strikes from the mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gauge Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Wash clinches up against the cage. Diaz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wash gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Wash is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks. Wash wants to break the clinch but can't.
Diaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wash fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Diaz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Diaz working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz with shots to the head and body - Wash looks very uncomfortable down there. Diaz is landing with some decent strikes but Wash is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Diaz is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Wash is rocked! Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wash's face.
Oh Wash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Diaz postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Wash is out cold - huge knockout for Diaz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gauge Diaz!
