Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Keanu Kealoha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sockem misses with a series of wild punches.
Sockem lands a head shot.

Kealoha misses with the combination.
Nice cross by Sockem.
Kealoha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sockem tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kealoha is in Sockem's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kealoha won't allow Sockem to sweep him here.
Kealoha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kealoha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kealoha will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kealoha thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sockem controls Kealoha momentarily but Kealoha frees himself.
Kealoha drops back looking for a leg! Sockem is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sockem manages to kick Kealoha off! Kealoha jumps back into Sockem's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kealoha stands and throws Sockem's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kealoha has hold of Sockem's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sockem tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kealoha cranks the arm and Sockem screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sockem, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Keanu Kealoha!
