Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Krisu Leepen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Dwyer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leepen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Leepen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dwyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Leepen. Leepen gets slowly back to his feet.
Leepen throws a wild hook but Dwyer just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Leepen gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Dwyer raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Dwyer!
Andy Dwyer looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I was so down after I lost my title... but.. Torment if they let me bang, and they said, yeah we let you bang bro... *sobs*'.
