The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simler walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Simler circles away.
Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Simler which made him look bad.

Williams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Williams wants to free his trapped foot but Simler is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Williams is trying to control the action in half guard but Simler is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Williams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
