Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Henzo Diaz has been cut.
Ross moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ross is looking to clinch.
Ross throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head.

so Diaz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz has his foot on Ross's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ross works his way back into a safe position though.
Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ross's guard.

Diaz has gone for a leg lock! Ross slips out almost immediately though and dives into Diaz's guard.
Diaz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ross manages to get himself to full guard.
