Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Sterrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dominic Sterrey! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sterrey throws a lazy right hand but Snow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sterrey shoots and misses and Snow counters with a shoot takedown. Sterrey fights it but they end up in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sterrey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there. Sterrey keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Snow advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow working away. Snow tries for a kimura but Sterrey is defending well. Snow is trying to get an arm triangle but Sterrey is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sterrey, who protects the arm well. Sterrey sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow is working for a kimura but Sterrey is defending it quite comfortably.
Sterrey is defending against the submission attempts here by Snow.
Sterrey is looking to improve his position.
Snow tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sterrey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sterrey gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sterrey keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Sterrey controlling Snow's posture. Snow pushes down on Sterrey's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sterrey wants to improve his position but Snow is controlling well.
Snow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Snow is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Snow looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sterrey gets back to full guard.
Sterrey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sterrey prevents Snow from getting the reversal. Sterrey working the ground and pound effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow is desperately trying to improve his position but Sterrey has a good base and remains in mount. Sterrey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Snow looks a forlorn figure.
Sterrey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sterrey is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Snow can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
A nice elbow there by Sterrey. Sterrey lands a heavy elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sterrey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sterrey with a couple of short strikes. Sterrey lands a big shot to the head and Snow winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
