Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Battle Crisis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Battle Crisis!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crisis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Crisis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crisis misses with the combination.
Crisis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Crisis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Crisis wants to stand but Jenkins has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jenkins is trying to keep Crisis in close.
Crisis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

and Crisis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Crisis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
It looks like Crisis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Crisis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crisis.

Crisis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crisis defends it easily.

Crisis is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jenkins's shoulder. That is not cool.

Jenkins seems a little lost for a moment, as Crisis dominates the positioning.

Crisis lands a nice forearm strike.
Jenkins wants to control but Crisis postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crisis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jenkins rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Crisis's guard! Nice work there by Jenkins!

Jenkins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crisis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Blake Jenkins wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jenkins doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Crisis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jenkins's guard now.
Crisis is looking to stand up but Jenkins won't let him.

Crisis wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Crisis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jenkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crisis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Crisis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Battle Crisis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jenkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Crisis counters with a single leg into guard. Jenkins didn't expect that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Battle Crisis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Crisis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Crisis is in Jenkins's guard.
Crisis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jenkins has his foot on Crisis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crisis works his way back into a safe position though.

You can see the frustration on Jenkins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well Crisis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
