Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Accidental Siren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gino Abate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Accidental Siren has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Accidental Siren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gino Abate! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siren thows a body shot but no joy. Abate throws a series of punches but Siren moves out of range. Abate throws a right hand that Siren ducks under and follows up with a left that Siren also avoids with ease. Siren throws a leg kick but Abate sees it coming and checks it nicely. Abate throws a nice looking combination but Siren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Siren slips a jab and a cross from Abate.
Abate throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Siren. Abate throws a series of punches but Siren moves out of range. Siren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Abate rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Siren moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abate falls off balance throwing a combination

and Siren counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Siren thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Abate's head. Siren thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Abate tries to get to full guard but Siren has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siren stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Abate to get to his feet. Abate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Siren.

Abate has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Siren. Siren works over Abate's head and body with a nice combination. Siren gets a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Siren fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Abate pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Abate bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Siren's head. Siren tries to clinch there but Abate circles away.

Gino Abate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Siren looks to score with a jab to the body but Abate is just out of range. Siren with a jab. That's four minutes gone in the round. Abate shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Siren eats them both and turns towards Abate to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Abate takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Abate rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Siren moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed right hand from Siren misses the target. Abate swinging wildly here.
Siren feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Abate wants to stand and escape but Siren is having none of it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abate is trying to keep Siren in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Accidental Siren dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Siren tries to control but Abate wriggling away. Abate really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Siren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Abate really wants to buck Siren off and get back to his feet. Accidental Siren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Siren punching from mount but Abate doing a good job of avoiding damage. Abate is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Abate is looking to improve his position but Siren isn't that keen on the idea. Siren is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Abate to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Abate shrugs it off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Abate avoids a series of strikes thrown by Siren.
