Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lorenzo Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Simon Magnus!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Magnus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magnus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lorenzo Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Magnus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Magnus counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Lorenzo Silva has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lorenzo Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Magnus as he jumps to the side.
Silva tries to clinch but Magnus is having none of it.

Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Magnus cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Magnus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silva under the eye.

A jab from Magnus finds it's way through Silva's defenses.
Silva walks forward, straight into a front kick from Magnus.
Magnus thumps Silva with a low kick.
Magnus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Magnus lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Magnus takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Silva is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magnus lands with a shot to the body.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Magnus throws a pinpoint strike between Silva's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Silva crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Magnus scores a great knockout victory!
