Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Battle Crisis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Boom-Intimidation. Battle Crisis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donovan Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Battle Crisis!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan tries to clinch but Crisis moves out of range.
Crisis keeps the fight on the outside.
Crisis swats away the attempt to clinch by Duncan.

Crisis has managed to clinch.

Duncan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Duncan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Crisis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Crisis looking to pass the guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Battle Crisis wasn't active enough on the ground.
Duncan tries to clinch there but Crisis circles away.

Crisis clinches up with Duncan and pushes him back against the cage.
Crisis takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Battle Crisis has been cut.

Duncan manages to pull guard.
Crisis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duncan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crisis with a flurry of punches that miss.
Crisis sitting in guard here, content to control.
Crisis is looking to pass into half guard but Duncan pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Duncan is in guard.

Crisis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Duncan has picked Crisis up and slammed him! Crisis can't keep hold of the triangle and Duncan manages to pass to side control!
Crisis is looking to reverse the position.
Duncan has control of an arm but Crisis manages to advance to Duncan's back!
Crisis controls the action.

Duncan controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Crisis is looking for a choke. Duncan gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Duncan manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Crisis is pulling down on Duncan's head. It's preventing any offense from Duncan, at least for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Battle Crisis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Crisis is looking to clinch but Duncan is avoiding it.
Duncan tries to clinch there but Crisis circles away.
Duncan moves in looking to clinch but Crisis pushes him off.

Crisis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Duncan's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crisis is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Battle Crisis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Battle Crisis's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Duncan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Crisis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Crisis does no damage.

Crisis is controlling the pace.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Crisis wants to stand up but Duncan has a hold of him and won't allow it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Battle Crisis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Duncan thows a body kick. Crisis tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Duncan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Duncan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duncan darts in trying to clinch

and Crisis counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Crisis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Duncan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Duncan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Duncan!

Crisis is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duncan tries to stand but Crisis is controlling his head.
Crisis is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Duncan is controlling him well.
Duncan gets to mount! Crisis was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Crisis tries to hold on but Duncan pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crisis is trying desperately to improve position.
Duncan is looking to stand but Duncan has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Crisis tries to improve his position but instead Duncan has taken his back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crisis tries to escape but Duncan has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Crisis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Battle Crisis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Duncan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Crisis tries to clinch up but Duncan circles away and keeps his distance.

Crisis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Crisis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
A nice elbow there by Crisis.
Crisis trying to control but Duncan is having none of it.
Crisis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Crisis controlling the position easily from mount.

Crisis lands a heavy elbow.

Crisis goes for an armbar but Duncan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Duncan.
Crisis wants to stand up but Duncan is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Donovan Duncan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Crisis avoids a kick to the body.
Crisis keeps the fight on the outside.
Duncan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Donovan Duncan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Crisis shoots in and bounces Duncan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Duncan has a closed guard, preventing Crisis from standing up.

and Crisis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duncan's guard.

Battle Crisis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Crisis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
