Ivanovits's entrance music is The Odorants - This Night. A fine choice. Vihtala comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pohjois-Karjala kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kaarlo Vihtala is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovits cracks Vihtala with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vihtala looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ivanovits finish him?
It looks like Kaarlo Vihtala has been cut.

Vihtala cracks the inside of Ivanovits's front leg.
Vihtala misses with a combination
and Ivanovits counters with a nice right hand that sends Vihtala toppling to the canvas! Vihtala scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ivanovits finish him?!
Vihtala is rocked!
Ivanovits throws a looping overhand right but Vihtala ducks down to avoid it.
Kaarlo Vihtala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vihtala slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A low kick from Vihtala misses
and Ivanovits counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vihtala throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ivanovits stumbling backwards into the cage! Ivanovits bounces back off the cage towards Vihtala, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Vihtala lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Vihtala celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kaarlo Vihtala!
