Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lander Moreski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John The Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Iron is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slippin. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lander Moreski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John The Iron! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Iron will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Moreski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moreski lands with a nice combination. The Iron backs away looking to recover. Moreski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into The Iron's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Moreski wanted to stand there but The Iron had control of the position. Moreski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The Iron has Moreski pulled in close to control his posture. The Iron escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moreski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Iron is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Iron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moreski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreski trying to control but The Iron is working from the bottom. The Iron wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Moreski throws a strike but The Iron rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The Iron wants to control from the top but Moreski keeps moving. The Iron pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moreski is keeping the position for now. Moreski is trying to control the position but The Iron postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Iron throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Moreski looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Iron is one step ahead there. The Iron passes into half guard. The Iron is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The Iron avoids the attempt from Moreski to control. The Iron takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Moreski tries to control the position but The Iron now has his back.
The Iron looking for the choke but no joy. The Iron working for a choke but Moreski is defending well. Moreski is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A momentary lapse in concentration from The Iron enables Moreski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. The Iron manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Moreski is breathing heavily. The Iron manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The Iron jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Moreski is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Moreski and The Iron has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The Iron wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moreski, who protects the arm well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The Iron wants to control but Moreski is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John The Iron dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Moreski lands with a kick to the temple. The Iron shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Moreski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in The Iron's half guard. Moreski is just content to waste time from the top position. The Iron takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. The Iron looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Moreski passes into half guard.
The Iron is looking to control Moreski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can The Iron avoid being mounted? The Iron actively working from the bottom here. Moreski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but The Iron sees it coming and defends easily.

Moreski passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Moreski is trying to control. The Iron wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Iron works his way to full guard. Good work. The Iron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Moreski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The Iron keeping moving, preventing Moreski from controlling successfully. The Iron working a defensive guard here.
Moreski wants to control from the top but The Iron keeps moving. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lander Moreski just wasn't active enough. Moreski moves into the clinch successfully.
The Iron gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moreski trying to keep a closed guard but The Iron is proving a slippery customer.
The Iron trying to control but Moreski is working from the bottom. John The Iron has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Iron stands and throws Moreski's legs to the side, diving into side control. The Iron is working to tighten is grip on Moreski's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Moreski has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but The Iron is really squeezing tight and eventually Moreski passes out! The Iron breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). John The Iron! A relieved looking John The Iron thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
