Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kayaki Chonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chonin's entrance music is The End is Near. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kayaki Chonin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremy Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chonin rushes Jitsu and presses him up against the cage. Jitsu tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jitsu keeps control of Chonin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jitsu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jitsu manages to end up in side control. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Chonin can't do much from the bottom here. Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chonin, who protects the arm well. Chonin manages to get back to half guard. Chonin makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Chonin drives through and clinches with Jitsu against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chonin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chonin looks to land a combination but Jitsu avoids it well. Jitsu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Chonin misses the shot to the body. Chonin throws a big shot that misses. Jitsu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jitsu tries for a takedown but Chonin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kayaki Chonin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Jitsu. Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt - Chonin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jitsu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chonin.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jitsu. Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chonin throws a head kick that misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Chonin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Chonin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jitsu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Chonin squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jitsu wants to take Chonin's back here but Chonin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Jitsu has hold of Chonin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chonin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jitsu looks gassed! Chonin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chonin is working hard here to advance position. Jitsu jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chonin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chonin and Jitsu has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chonin tries to bench press Jitsu off him but Jitsu keeps the position. Chonin struggling a bit here. Chonin gets back to half guard. Chonin is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jitsu is keen to just control but Chonin is a slippery customer. Jitsu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chonin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jitsu. Chonin wants to control but Jitsu is keeping busy.
Chonin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jitsu is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jitsu avoids the head kick by Chonin.
Kayaki Chonin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Chonin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kayaki Chonin will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Chonin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jitsu fails with the takedown. Chonin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chonin fails in his attempt to clinch. Chonin tries to clinch up but Jitsu circles away and keeps his distance. Chonin misses with a hook. Jitsu ducked under it nicely. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Chonin looking for submissions off his back. Chonin is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chonin is in trouble now - Jitsu has advanced to mount! Jitsu avoids the attempt from Chonin to control. Jitsu controlling from mount. Chonin is trying to stand but he's just given Jitsu his back. Jitsu has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Chonin is defending well but eventually Jitsu manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Chonin has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jeremy Jitsu!
