Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Franks Beans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Franks Beans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beans misses with a jab, cross combination.
Beans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes.
Walker throws a combination that misses
enabling Beans to counter with a crisp jab.
Beans looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Beans persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
Beans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Beans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franks Beans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beans shoots in looking for a takedown. Walker tries to sprawl out of it but Beans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker is looking to clinch.
Beans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Walker on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Beans shoots in looking for a takedown. Walker tries to sprawl out of it but Beans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Walker as Beans shoots in.
Beans shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Beans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Beans is breathing heavily.

Walker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Beans manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Beans fails to advance to Walker's back.
Walker is looking to get to half guard.
Walker wants to control but Beans is having none of it.
Walker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Walker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Beans goes for an armbar but Walker turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Walker.
Walker tries to stand but Beans is controlling from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Beans can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walker controls the pace.
Walker wants to stand but Beans is controlling his posture from full guard.
Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Walker wants to control from the top but Beans keeps moving.

Beans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Beans had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Walker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beans Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Walker's back instead.
Walker is really stuck here.

Beans is looking for the choke from the back position but Walker is controlling his hands well.

Beans is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Walker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Walker for a finish.

Beans is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Walker has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Beans looking for the RNC.

Walker is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Walker rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Beans is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beans.
Walker is trying to stand.
Beans tries to pass to full mount but Walker defends it.
Walker wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Beans passes to full mount!

Beans jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Walker manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Franks Beans dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Walker pushes Beans up against the cage in a clinch.
Walker is working for takedown but Beans is calmly controlling the position for now.
Beans fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Walker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beans.
Walker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beans smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beans fails to land with a series of punches.
Franks Beans is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Walker is breathing heavily.
Beans has his takedown stuffed
and Beans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franks Beans. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Beans scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Walker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Beans.
Beans fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Beans with a poor takedown

and Walker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beans's guard now.
Walker trying to control but Beans is working from the bottom.

Beans looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Beans working for a triangle but Walker defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Walker has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Beans to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Walker is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Beans pulls down on the head and he's put Walker to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Franks Beans!
