With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Skywalker!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skywalker misses with a wild body shot.
Skywalker misses with a right hand
and Szczerek finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Skywalker, right into the meat.
Szczerek tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Skywalker throws a big shot that misses.
Szczerek misses with a few strikes there.
Skywalker lands with a thumping leg kick.
Szczerek tries a low kick but Skywalker avoids it.
Szczerek throws a push kick but Skywalker slaps the foot to one side.
Szczerek throws a right and a left that Skywalker avoids nicely.
Szczerek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Skywalker swivels and escapes.
Skywalker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Szczerek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Szczerek postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Skywalker wants to control but Szczerek postures up.
Szczerek with the ground and pound but Skywalker regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Skywalker moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Skywalker pulls Szczerek in close to his closed guard and prevents Szczerek from doing any damage or advancing position.
Skywalker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Szczerek loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Szczerek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skywalker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Szczerek has Skywalker in his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Szczerek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Skywalker wants to control from the top but Szczerek keeps moving.
Skywalker passes Szczerek's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Skywalker is thwarting Szczerek's attempts to control the position.
Szczerek is trying to get back to full guard.
Skywalker trying to pass the guard but Szczerek defending well.
Szczerek is doing well to control the position and prevent Skywalker from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Skywalker throws a leg kick but Szczerek moved away.
Szczerek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skywalker circles away quickly and effectively.
Szczerek ducks under a wild hook from Skywalker.
Skywalker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Szczerek's sensitive parts.
Skywalker avoids the head kick by Szczerek.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Szczerek.
Szczerek falls off balance throwing a combination
and Skywalker counters with a low kick, right behind Szczerek 's knee.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Szczerek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skywalker's waist but Skywalker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Szczerek off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomasz Szczerek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Szczerek is breathing heavily.
Skywalker leaves Szczerek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A close round but Luke Skywalker will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Skywalker jabs Szczerek to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Luke Skywalker seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Skywalker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Szczerek on the side of the head.
Szczerek shoots in for a double leg but Skywalker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Skywalker thuds a left hand into Szczerek's body.
Tomasz Szczerek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Skywalker jabs Szczerek right on the nose. Szczerek blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Skywalker connects with a solid leg kick.
Szczerek pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Szczerek has a takedown stuffed.
Skywalker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Szczerek on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Skywalker drops Szczerek with a beautiful combination! Szczerek stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Skywalker is looking for the KO!

Szczerek is rocked!
Skywalker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Szczerek has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Szczerek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Skywalker connects with a solid leg kick.

Skywalker thumps Szczerek with a low kick.
Szczerek seems to have got his legs back now.
Luke Skywalker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skywalker is looking to slow Szczerek down with leg kicks.
Skywalker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Szczerek looks up at the clock. Bad move! Skywalker lands a right hand from hell, dropping Szczerek. Skywalker pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
