Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerry Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to the Bone. Lawson has chosen Animals as leaders -soraya as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels tries to clinch but Lawson moves out of range.
A jab from Lawson finds it's way through Daniels's defenses.
Daniels tried to score with a low kick but Lawson checks it.

Lawson cracks Daniels with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lawson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lawson.

Daniels fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lawson to the ground. Daniels is now in Lawson's guard.

Daniels drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Daniels jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Daniels throws an elbow that misses. Lawson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Daniels's guard. Nice move by Lawson!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Daniels is nestled in close to Lawson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Daniels looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Daniels looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lawson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Daniels has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
