Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Nair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Zukic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zukic is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 50 cent - Many man. The key to victory for Sameer Nair has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zukic keeps Nair at a distance using the push kick.
An inside leg kick from Nair misses.
Nair comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Zukic avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zukic avoids the head kick by Nair.
Nair misses with a few strikes there.
Zukic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nair fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zukic tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nair counters with a series of strikes. Zukic will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nair fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nair lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zukic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zukic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nair gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Zukic tries for a takedown but Nair manages to get underhooks.
Zukic misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nair.

Sameer Nair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Zukic.
Zukic jumps guard but Nair stands there with Zukic around his waist. Zukic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zukic wants the takedown. Nair is fighting it off but Zukic persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nair's guard against the cage.
Zukic postures up in Nair's guard and throws a big left but Nair blocks it.

Zukic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zukic on the ground.

Nair is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zukic is controlling him.

Despite being in the dominant position, Amir Zukic just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Nair counters with a two punch combo.
Nair moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nair tries a head kick but it misses.
Zukic scores a takedown into full mount!
BOOM! Zukic connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Zukic scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Nair is trying to stand up.
Zukic throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nair has his hands clasped together but Zukic breaks the hold and Nair is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Zukic!
