Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lady The Odd Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samin Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lady The Odd Ball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samin Ax! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ax drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Odd Ball manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Ax winds up and cracks The Odd Ball with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The Odd Ball is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Odd Ball is staying active underneath Ax, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ax looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ax thows a huge punch but The Odd Ball dodges it nicely.
The Odd Ball tries to roll over but Ax keeps him under control. Ax is nestled in close to The Odd Ball, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ax lands strikes from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ax not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The Odd Ball looking for submissions off his back. Ax is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The Odd Ball wants to improve his position but Ax is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Odd Ball moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ax must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The Odd Ball has his foot on Ax's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ax works his way back into a safe position though. The Odd Ball had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ax defends it easily. The Odd Ball looking for subs off his back but Ax has passed one foot through into half guard.
Ax is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Odd Ball doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ax. Ax slips a nice elbow through The Odd Ball's hands, connecting with The Odd Ball's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Odd Ball is pressing down on Ax's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The Odd Ball really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ax scoring with some ground and pound. The Odd Ball wants to sweep but no luck. The Odd Ball looking for a triangle here. Ax is fighting it but it looks tight! The Odd Ball pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ax is tapping out - this one is all over!
