Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Train kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Rammstein - Feuer Frei. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Train! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jermaine Johnson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Train paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson is looking to chop away at Train's legs. Johnson tries to bum rush Train with a series of wild strikes but Train uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Train moves away from the strike by Johnson. Johnson is looking to clinch. Johnson throws the left hand but Train avoids the punch easily. Train lands a jab-cross combination. The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Train takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Train swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson is looking to clinch but Train is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson takes one on the button. Johnson shoots in but Train avoids the takedown attempt easily. Johnson tries to clinch up. A slapping leg kick lands for Johnson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Train pinned against the cage. Train gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Train lands a nice hook to Johnson's body. Johnson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Train will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Train counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Train throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Train bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Johnson's head. Train lands a right hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Train moves into range and clinches up with Johnson. Train breaks from the clinch.
Train scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Train scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Johnson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Train walks into a stiff left hand from Johnson. Train wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Johnson looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Train clinches with his opponent.
Train breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Train lands a nice looking body shot.

Mike Train is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good leg kick by Train there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A decent looking cross lands there for Train. Train lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Johnson backs up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Train closes the distance and lands a one-two. Johnson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Train counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Train works over Johnson's head and body with a nice combination. Train throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Train throws out a powerful jab. A jab from Train does it's job there. Johnson darts in trying to clinch and Train counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Train slips under a jab. A big left from Johnson misses. Johnson misses with a body shot
and Train counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Train breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Train counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Mike Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jermaine Johnson. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson tries for a takedown but Train circles away easily and Train counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mike Train is winning the standup battle so far. Left hook, right uppercut from Train. Train fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johnson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Train comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Train has taken the fight to the clinch.

Johnson swings wildly with an uppercut but Train uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Train pulls his leg out and moves away.
Train lands a nice leg kick that just misses Johnson's sensitive parts. A clash of legs there as Johnson blocks the low kick. Train stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Train throws a nice outside leg kick. Jermaine Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson shoots and misses and Train counters with a lovely straight right hand! Train has taken the fight to the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Train is working the combinations to good effect here. Train lands with a shot to the body. Train looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice body punch from Train. A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Johnson on the wrong end of a nice jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Train attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

And that's the end of the fight! Mike Train showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Train, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
