Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barristan The Bold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karlos Vemola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karlos Vemola will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barristan The Bold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Karlos Vemola!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vemola takes the fight into the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Vemola.
Vemola prevents the takedown attempt.
Vemola is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Vemola breaks the clinch.
Vemola is looking to clinch.
Vemola tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Bold swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vemola tries to clinch but The Bold moves out of range.
Vemola moves into the clinch successfully.
The Bold wants a takedown but no success here.
The Bold turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Vemola is trying to improve his position.
The Bold tries to stand but Vemola is controlling his head.

Vemola pushes The Bold away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, The Bold gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The Bold advances to mount.
The Bold swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vemola is now in The Bold's guard. A big mistake from The Bold there, giving up the dominant position!
Vemola has gone for a leg lock! The Bold slips out almost immediately though and dives into Vemola's guard.
The Bold wanted to stand there but Vemola had control of the position.
The Bold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vemola swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Bold working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vemola's head.
The Bold is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The Bold gets to his feet. Vemola looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Vemola tries to clinch
and The Bold counters with a shoot takedown. Vemola fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Bold stands and throws Vemola's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The Bold advances to full mount.
The Bold is working for a guillotine from mount but Vemola frees his head quite easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vemola can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vemola avoids a series of strikes thrown by The Bold.

The Bold moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Vemola has worked his arm free - good work by Vemola!
The Bold lands a few punches from side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Bold throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The Bold is trying to get an arm triangle but Vemola is defending well.
Vemola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Bold. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Bold lands a nice forearm strike.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The Bold throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Vemola is working to avoid the ground and pound but The Bold connects with a decent elbow.
The Bold tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The Bold lands an elbow.
The Bold throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Vemola wants to get back to his feet but The Bold drags him back down.
The Bold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vemola is rocked!
The Bold is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Vemola is trying to escape and The Bold transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Vemola is forced to tap! Nice work there by The Bold! Very nice indeed!
