Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick O Shae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vihtori Kusemo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick O Shae ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vihtori Kusemo! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kusemo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. O Shae is not content to let Kusemo control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! O Shae is trying to control but can't.
Kusemo is looking to take a break and control but O Shae is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. O Shae is trying to stand back up but Kusemo is controlling him
Kusemo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kusemo trying to mount his opponent but O Shae defends it. O Shae is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kusemo shoots in and drives through. O Shae sprawls well. Good leg kick by O Shae there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Both fighters circling a little - O Shae finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. O Shae scores with a kick to the body.

Kusemo shoots for a takedown but O Shae saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kusemo looks gassed! O Shae throws a head kick that half lands.
Kusemo closes the distance and clinches up with O Shae , looking for a takedown. Kusemo pushes O Shae against the cage but O Shae circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rick O Shae has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vihtori Kusemo. O Shae throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Vihtori Kusemo has been cut. A solid leg kick lands there for O Shae .
Kusemo is still on wobbly legs! Can O Shae finish him? Kusemo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. O Shae fakes the leg kick and cracks Kusemo in the body. Kusemo seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head kick misses from O Shae . O Shae throws a sloppy head kick and Kusemo moves out of range easily. O Shae throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kusemo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kusemo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. O Shae is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. O Shae is thwarting Kusemo's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Shae is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kusemo defends it well. Kusemo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from O Shae . Kusemo wants to control but O Shae is keeping busy.
Kusemo is pressing down on O Shae 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kusemo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kusemo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of O Shae 's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kusemo wants to control the pace but O Shae is squirming around nicely. Kusemo throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kusemo looking to control but O Shae is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. O Shae really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
O Shae bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kusemo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. O Shae trying to control the position from guard on top but Kusemo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. O Shae drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kusemo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now O Shae has Kusemo in his guard. Kusemo controlling from the top position. O Shae looking for a sweep. Not yet O Shae , not yet. Kusemo throwing strikes from guard but O Shae blocks nicely. Kusemo preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. O Shae is working hard here to advance position. O Shae escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kusemo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. O Shae has momentary wrist control but Kusemo slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick O Shae dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vihtori Kusemo's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kusemo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A head kick from O Shae lands but Kusemo takes it in his stride. Kusemo closes the distance and clinches up with O Shae , looking for a takedown. Kusemo pushes O Shae against the cage but O Shae circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kusemo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Rick O Shae showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for O Shae , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
