Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Mulligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Trill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mulligan comes to the cage accompanied by Primus-- Wynonas big brown beaver. Trill has chosen They Will Kill Us All - The Bronx as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Mulligan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Trill!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trill lands a big shot that drops Mulligan! Can he finish him?


Mulligan is rocked!


It looks like Mickey Mulligan has been cut.
Trill trying to control the position from guard on top but Mulligan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oh Mulligan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trill wanted to stand there but Mulligan had control of the position.

Mulligan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mulligan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mulligan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mulligan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Trill must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mulligan has his foot on Trill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trill works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mulligan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Trill wants to get up but he can't break Mulligan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Trill rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mulligan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Trill cracks Mulligan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mulligan loads up on a big right hand but Trill slips the punch.
Trill throws a nice looking combination but Mulligan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trill throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Mulligan tumbling to the canvas!

Mulligan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Trill is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mulligan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Trill's back instead.
Mulligan is breathing heavily.
I really don't envy Trill right now.

Trill is trying to get back to his feet but Mulligan has full control of the position and if anything, Trill has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Trill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mulligan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trill manages to stand up with Mulligan still on his back. Eventually Mulligan drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Mulligan shoots in and drives through. Trill sprawls well.
Trill connects with a body shot.
Crack! A monster head kick from Trill and Mulligan falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Trill!
