Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Downem swivels and escapes.
Coulter checks a leg kick.
Coulter throws a nice looking combination but Downem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Coulter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Downem.
Downem throws a jab but it's blocked by Coulter.
Coulter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coulter fails to land with a series of punches.
Downem thows a left - swing and a miss!
Downem throws a leg kick but Coulter moved away.

Coulter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Downem was covering up waiting for the punch and Coulter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Downem is pulling down on Coulter's head to control his posture.
Downem tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Downem trying to keep a closed guard but Coulter is proving a slippery customer.
Downem looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coulter is one step ahead there.

Coulter wants to stand but Downem is controlling his posture from full guard.
Coulter wants to control from the top but Downem keeps moving.
Coulter tries to stand but Downem is controlling from the bottom.
Downem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coulter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Downem manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Downem throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Downem controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Downem misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Downem trying to control but Coulter is having none of it.

Downem cracks Coulter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Coulter is breathing heavily.

Downem throws some wild stikes that Coulter manages to avoid easily.
Downem pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Downem cracks Coulter with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
