Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shane Rik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tarmo Uusivirta!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uusivirta throws a right hand that misses
and Rik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Uusivirta swats away the attempt to clinch by Rik.
Rik on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rik staying out of range there.
Rik showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uusivirta.
A chopping leg kick lands by Uusivirta.
Rik wants to clinch.
Rik tries to clinch but Uusivirta is having none of it.
Uusivirta closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rik scores with a hook.
Uusivirta throws a low kick, looking for Rik's leg but Rik calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rik defending well as Uusivirta loads up on a big left hand.
Uusivirta dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rik shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rik showed some decent athleticism there.
Rik lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Uusivirta tries to get to full guard but Rik has control of the leg.
Rik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rik looks to land a strike but Uusivirta avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rik is looking to work some ground and pound but Uusivirta has wrist control.
Rik content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Uusivirta utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Uusivirta controls Rik momentarily but Rik frees himself.

Uusivirta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Uusivirta is rocked!
Rik gets to his feet and stands over Uusivirta, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Uusivirta felt that one! Rik unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Uusivirta from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Rik!
Shane Rik was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
