Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate MacRally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold- by Ted Nugent. MacRally comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate MacRally!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacRally misses with a double jab.
MacRally keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gunn.
MacRally lands a slapping body shot.
Gunn swinging wildly here.
MacRally throws a series of punches but Gunn moves out of range.
MacRally tries to bum rush Gunn with a series of wild strikes but Gunn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gunn falls off balance throwing a combination
and MacRally counters with a nice uppercut.

MacRally is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gunn.
MacRally misses with a jab, cross combination.
MacRally stuffs the takedown attempt from Gunn. Gunn gets slowly back to his feet.
MacRally rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gunn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gunn misses with a two punch combination.
Gunn throws a hook to the side of MacRally's head but MacRally sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kyle Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacRally lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Gunn just misses with a punch to the body.
Gunn ducks right into an uppercut from MacRally.
Gunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gunn throws a jab when MacRally was well out of range.
MacRally misses with a jab, cross combination.
MacRally throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
MacRally lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gunn circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from MacRally does it's job there.
Gunn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
MacRally is looking to control Gunn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can MacRally avoid being mounted?
MacRally regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gunn.
MacRally has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gunn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed MacRally's guard.
MacRally wants to get back to full guard.
MacRally keeping control of the position.
MacRally is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gunn scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gunn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
MacRally moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gunn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

MacRally pulls Gunn in close to prevent any damage.

MacRally has hold of Gunn's hands but Gunn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
MacRally moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Gunn is in close to MacRally's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gunn is fighting to break MacRally's control of his arms but MacRally is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
MacRally has momentary wrist control but Gunn slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gunn is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! MacRally is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! MacRally has escaped and now he's on top!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
MacRally scores with a nice head shot.
Gunn misses with a takedown attempt
and MacRally counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacRally on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gunn misses with a straight right.
MacRally ducks under a wild hook from Gunn.
Sloppy strikes from MacRally. Those never looked like landing.
MacRally lands with a right hand.
Gunn dodges the punch combination from MacRally.
Gunn thumps MacRally with a low kick.
Gunn throws a lazy right hand but MacRally sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gunn is defended easily by MacRally.
MacRally leaves Gunn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Gunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gunn slips a straight right by MacRally.

MacRally on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Kyle Gunn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gunn tries to free his leg and advance position but MacRally is retaining full guard.

MacRally controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Gunn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MacRally defends well.

MacRally seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gunn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
MacRally cracks Gunn with a solid left hand.
Gunn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. MacRally doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. MacRally manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacRally can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

MacRally is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
MacRally throws a series of punches but Gunn avoids them all with ease.

MacRally throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A close second round but Nate MacRally will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Gunn fails to land with a series of punches.
MacRally moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from MacRally.
MacRally feints with a jab and clips Gunn right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Gunn is sent crashing into the canvas and MacRally leaps in for the kill! Gunn tries to get to his feet but MacRally is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Gunn is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate MacRally!
Nate MacRally decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
