Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Parachute Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Damon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damon has chosen Here Comes the Boom-Intimidation as his entrance music. Desmond Damon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon misses with a wild combination.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Damon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Damon is bucking up trying to escape but Man cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Damon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Man has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Damon's face.
Man cracks Damon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Parachute Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Man distracts Damon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man works over Damon with some ground and pound from guard.
Damon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Man lands a couple of elbows.
Man is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Damon can do to turn this around?

Damon is breathing heavily.
