Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Monster by Skillet. Kafka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Haters Gonna Hate. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Monty Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franz Kafka! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kafka is looking to chop away at Brown's legs. Jab, jab by Kafka - just one landing. Brown has a takedown stuffed. Kafka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brown. Kafka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kafka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kafka throws out the jab. Brown blocks a head kick by Kafka.
Franz Kafka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kafka throws a big shot that misses. Kafka throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range. Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brown avoids a kick to the body.
Brown looks to land a right hand but Kafka moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown catches Kafka with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kafka wants to land a leg kick but Brown is out of range. Kafka throws a front kick that sends Brown stumbling back into the cage. Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Kafka tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kafka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monty Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown slips under a jab. Brown lands a head shot. Kafka throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Kafka walks into a straight right hand from Brown. Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kafka misses with a combination
and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown has Kafka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kafka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kafka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kafka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brown. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Kafka counters with a big head kick but Brown shrugs it off. Kafka wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance. Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brown rushes Kafka and presses him up against the cage. Kafka with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kafka misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brown lands with a left to the head. Brown tightens his grip and picks Kafka up, before dumping him to the ground. Kafka manages to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Kafka is retaining full guard. Brown trying to control but Kafka is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown wants to control from the top but Kafka keeps moving. Brown with a nice head shot there. Kafka wants to sweep but no luck. Brown is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kafka keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Brown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brown throwing strikes from guard but Kafka blocks nicely. Brown's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kafka is trying to hold Brown in close to prevent damage but Brown has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown trying to mount his opponent but Kafka defends it. Kafka is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Brown scores with a couple of nice shots. Brown not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kafka is staying active underneath Brown, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brown is trying to work for a kimura but Kafka is defending well.
Kafka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kafka avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Brown dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kafka attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Franz Kafka seems to be getting the better of the standup. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Kafka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A big right from Kafka misses. Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kafka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kafka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Kafka. The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kafka sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kafka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brown blocks a head kick by Kafka.
Brown takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kafka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kafka connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brown's hands. Brown lunges at Kafka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kafka's hand. Kafka fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brown checks it well. Kafka wants to land a leg kick but Brown is out of range. Franz Kafka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kafka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with Kafka's head. A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Kafka does a little dance to reset his feet. Kafka throws a front kick aimed at Brown's knee but Brown avoids it well. Brown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kafka throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it. Kafka cracks Brown with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Brown checks a leg kick. Brown misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A combination from Brown does no damage. Brown moves out of range of the body kick from Kafka.

A swing and a miss from Kafka. Kafka lunges at Brown with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brown's hand. Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kafka throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Brown. Kafka is breathing heavily. Brown throwing strikes but Kafka manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Brown sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kafka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Brown trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kafka's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kafka's back! Brown just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Brown lands shots from the back. Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brown looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Brown is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kafka knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kafka for a finish. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kafka defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Brown punishes Kafka with strikes from the back mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown has his arm under Kafka's chin here. Game over son! Brown squeezes tightly and Kafka is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Monty Brown!
