PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aatos Tellervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keni Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Susi has chosen Metallica - Hero of the Day as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Susi tries to keep at a distance but Tellervo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Susi fails to pull guard.

Tellervo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tellervo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tellervo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Susi is controlling him.
Susi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tellervo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tellervo stuffs the takedown.
Susi shoots for a double leg takedown but Tellervo sprawls well. He's pushed Susi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aatos Tellervo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keni Susi.
Susi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Tellervo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tellervo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tellervo manages to end up in side control.

Susi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Susi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Susi is keen to just control but Tellervo is a slippery customer.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Susi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Susi wants to control from the top but Tellervo keeps moving.
Susi passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Susi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tellervo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Susi yanks on the arm and Tellervo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Susi.
